Well, I am a cat person, so my mind is haunted by this kind of animal all the time. Truth be told, I have a cat at home and he is so attached to me. Whenever I go, he follows and rubs his head against my feet, which I find so adorable.

3. Do people keep pets at home in your country?

As far as I’m concerned, as the standards of living in Vietnam are being enhanced, more and more people tend to buy a pet to raise at home. Fish, cats, and dogs are the most popular ones, while guinea pigs or reptiles like snakes and lizards are rare.

4. Are people in your nation animal lovers?

Really, no. Although terrible to accept, this is the reality. Most Vietnamese individuals enjoy hurting animals, selling their parts, shooting photographs to show others, or posting captured or butchered animals on Facebook in order to gain gratification, as opposed to loving them.

5. Do you think cities are suitable places for keeping a pet?

From my standpoint, no. You know, as metropolises are areas of bumper-to-bumper traffic and are another definition of a concrete jungle, pets are exposed to the risk of being involved in traffic accidents or lack of playing spaces.

Answer

If anyone ever asks me about the animal that I am into, I wouldn’t hesitate to say it is cats. 

Truth be told, I have a pet cat at home which is so adorable and curious, and I think that I will never get enough of it. About this one, I brought it home a year ago from a veterinarian when he was only 2 months old, and I have been living with him since then.

This kind of 4-leg animal is exhilarating as it possesses strange traits. The first worth-mentioning one is that he is curious about anything around him. Therefore, he always scrutinizes me when I perform daily tasks and loves to sniff anything he may find. Secondly, he really leads a sedentary life when most of the time he lazes around the house doing nothing. According to some research, cats are likely to sleep up to 16 hours a day, which helps save them a lot of energy for hunting or mating. Even after being domesticated, cats have never given up on this habit, but many people may find this cute and irresistible. The third trait I would like to mention is that cats are very smart as they are rather observers than performers. To put it simply, they observe everything, and if we try to teach them some tricks with enough treats, they would master it in no time. 

All in all, cats are my favorite animals, and they have ruled my life until today. I hope that we will be with each other for a long time.

As a bit of a wildlife nerd, it goes without saying that I find animal topics to be quite intriguing. The tiger is one of my perennial favorite animals.

Its family is Felidae, in other words, tigers are cousins of cats, which I do have one at home. It has a reputation for being a vicious predator. It is an apex predator that mostly targets ungulates like deer and wild boars. It can be identified by its orange fur with a white underside and dark vertical lines, which makes them distinctive. 

Tigers can be found in a surprising range of habitats, including swamps, grasslands, savannas, and rainforests. Sadly, 93% of former tiger habitats have vanished, largely as a result of rising human activity. Saving tigers also implies saving forests, which are necessary for maintaining the planet's health.

Tiger is the spirit animal of my birth year, which is why I developed a love for this amazing animal.

Answer

The animal kingdom is fascinating and full of appealing creatures that humans can learn a variety of things. Dolphin is my animal of choice for today’s topic. This creature is extremely intelligent, incredibly well-liked, yet scientifically complicated.

When I was a child, I had a few opportunities to view these mammals. But because it was so long ago, I can't recall clearly when or where I first met one.

Although I rarely encounter dolphins in real life, as a nature geek, I read and watch so much about them, which makes me captivated but regret at the same time as I know too much about dolphins. This species, which portrays itself as charming, smart, and sociable, is among the most overrated in the animal kingdom. I'm horrified by their sinister aspects and unknown tales, though.

However, dolphins have saved human lives countless times, which keeps my affection for them.

From my perspective, pets like cats or dogs are not only humans’ friends but also our guide in some special situations. In terms of the companionship, a dog can simply become a family’s friend and gradually be considered a member of the family. This is because it possesses several precious traits which are highly appreciated by humans such as loyalty, playfulness and cuteness. With regard to pets’ help in our lives, some dogs are the guide for blind people to go around unharmed, and some cats are used in therapies to treat mental diseases or to accelerate the healing rate of wounds. 

2. Do you think that today we don’t need animals in our lives anymore?

As far as I can tell, today, most animal products can be artificially manufactured such as leather, fur, milk or even meat. However, the role of animals in our life is not that simple as they provide us with a great deal of nutritious foods which cannot be replaced by now, and some of them are our friends at home like cats or dogs. Moreover, animals play an imperative role in maintaining the ecological balance, which keeps this planet earth alive and our habitats prosperous.
